Terms of use
These Terms of Use and Billing (hereinafter - the Terms) set out how the user uses the web platform and digital services (hereinafter - the System) developed by Perfekti SIA (reg. no. 40203678637, registered address: Madonas nov., Madona, Raiņa iela 6, LV-4801). By using the System, the user confirms that they have read, understood and agree to these Terms.
1. Service
1.1. The System is provided by Perfekti SIA (hereinafter - the Service Provider).
1.2. The Terms apply to both natural and legal persons, regardless of how they access the System (online, via API or otherwise).
1.3. The Service Provider reserves the right to change the System's functionality, prices, plans or service structure at any time.
1.4. Changes take effect when they are published on tasqin.com.
Tasqin is a team work tool for lists, tasks, files and collaboration. We provide access to the software as it stands (as is) so you and your team can plan and finish work.
2. Account
An account may be created by a person who is at least 16 and able to enter a contract. You agree to provide accurate details and keep your email address current.
You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for all activity from your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, change the password at once and contact us.
When signing in with Google or Microsoft, you agree that the provider shares profile data (name, email) needed to create or access your account.
3. Content
Lists, tasks, files and other data you enter in Tasqin stay yours or your company's. We use them only to provide the service, keep it secure and give support.
You warrant that you have the right to enter this content and that it does not infringe other people's rights, confidentiality or applicable law.
4. Acceptable use
You must not try to break into the system, overload it, bypass security, copy another team's data or use Tasqin for unlawful purposes.
If a breach is material, we may restrict or close the account. For clearly unlawful content we may notify the competent authorities.
5. Paid plans and billing
Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Prices, billing period and seat count are shown on the billing page before payment. The team manager seat is usually free; you pay for additional user seats according to the plan.
You can cancel a subscription at period end in the billing section; access continues until the paid period ends. Refunds follow applicable consumer law and Stripe terms.
Stripe processes payment and invoice data under its own privacy policy. Payment card details are not stored in our database.
Each team has one Stripe subscription. Billing is per user seat: the team leader seat is free (1 seat); each additional active user requires a separate paid seat according to the selected plan and billing period (monthly or yearly).
Team subscription charges are paid by the team leader or another member with permission to manage team settings and billing (Team → Billing). Other team users do not pay individually; their access to team data and features depends on an active, paid team subscription.
If you invite a new user but the team has no open paid seat, you must purchase an additional seat before the invitation can be accepted. A new seat added mid-cycle is charged proportionally (prorated) for the remaining billing period; indicative and final amounts are shown on the billing page and in Stripe Checkout.
Paid but unoccupied seats remain available until the end of the current billing period — you can invite another user at no extra charge while the seat is open. In the next billing period the subscription includes only occupied seats; unused seats are removed with no refund for the already paid period.
The subscription renews automatically each billing period unless you cancel it. You can cancel in the billing section — cancellation takes effect at period end and access remains active until then. Before period end you can undo a scheduled cancellation and restore automatic renewal.
Prices on the site and in billing are shown in euros (EUR) excluding VAT. Where applicable, VAT is calculated and collected by Stripe at checkout based on your country and billing details. Refunds follow applicable consumer law and Stripe terms.
If the system administrator enables a trial period, new teams may receive a specific plan for a limited number of days; during an active trial, inviting new users usually does not require a separate paid seat. Early bird is a limited global pool of seats at a special price; a seat becomes Early bird at purchase time if seats remain in the pool. If a user is removed and the seat is not filled before the cycle ends, Early bird status is not returned to the pool.
If payment fails, Stripe retries the charge; we may restrict access to team features for users who are not the leader or do not have billing permissions until the balance is settled or the subscription is restored. After subscription end or prolonged non-payment, access to paid features may be blocked for all team users except the person authorised to manage billing.
6. Integrations
Google Drive, OneDrive, Gmail and calendar integrations are optional. You are responsible for having the right to grant access to the relevant accounts and folders.
We are not liable for availability, pricing or content loss of third-party services (Google, Microsoft, etc.) outside Tasqin.
7. Gmail Chrome extension
The Chrome extension works alongside the web app. By using it, you agree it may access your Gmail account only to the extent granted by Google OAuth to attach emails to tasks.
The extension session is stored on your Chrome device. You can disconnect it at any time by removing the connection in your profile or uninstalling the extension.
8. Availability
We aim to keep Tasqin available without interruption, but we cannot guarantee 100% uptime. Planned work and emergency fixes may briefly interrupt access.
9. Liability
Tasqin helps organise work, but you are responsible for decisions based on what you see in the system. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect loss, lost profit or data loss arising from use of the service.
If the law does not allow us to exclude liability, it is limited to the amount you paid for Tasqin in the last 12 months, or EUR 100 if there was no fee.
10. Termination
You may stop using the service and request account deletion in Personal settings. After a request the account is deactivated for 30 days; signing in again restores it. After the period data is deleted according to the privacy policy.
We may close an account if you materially breach these terms or if we discontinue the service. Ending a paid subscription does not release you from payment obligations already incurred, where applicable.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Latvia. We will first try to resolve disputes by discussion. If that fails, Latvian courts have jurisdiction unless consumer protection rules say otherwise.
12. Contact
Questions about these terms and the service: Write to tasqin.com@gmail.com. We will reply within a reasonable time.
